Type One Diabetes comes on suddenly and severely. Its progression can be days to a week. It can be so fast and dramatic you may not know what hit you as often Type One can appear through an illness such as a cold, virus or injury. • Frequent urination
• Weight loss, which can be dramatic and accompany no signs of loss of appetite.
• Vomiting
• Young children may begin bed wetting
• Fatigue and weakness
