If I had a hat on I would toss it off for this woman. I just read an article last night from the Guelph Tribune about a dedicated mom, Jennifer Stelleffler who has recently completed a marathon with Team Diabetes Canada in Rome Italy.
Her inspiration and dedication to her 8 year old daughter, Michaela is certainly what being a class act number one mother Is all about. The fight for the one you love and putting it all out there to do what you can for them and others who share the commonality of diabetes.

Now I am certainly not the least bit athletic. Can’t through a ball, kick a ball or run to save my soul…I can however do a mean blow dry of the hair and smack on lip gloss like no one’s business!. So when I read about some like Jennifer, I am in awe, to say the least. I have great admiration for those gifted with the talent for any form of athletics, but even more admiration for a mother who combines their passion and dedication to help their child with active participation in an athletic form.
(I have no co-ordination what so ever)
Reading through the article, Jennifer is a member of Team Diabetes Canada who is looking forward to her next marathon run in October.
Now this is an energetic group. They have a mission,to raise awareness, promote and inspire communities to get involved and get active. Who could ask for more?. Hmmmm,
I might even take a walk today I feel so inspired! Visit their site and sign up!! It’s a chance for you to be active in the fight against Diabetes.
So many people are out there walking and running for those they love. urge you to take part in anyway you can just like Jennifer. Send in your used clothes, sign up to run, send in your ink cartridges and old cell phones. Let’s get going. Stand behind those fighting this disease and give a big hand to those who fight for the ones they love. This is what it’s all about.
