Diabetes and Reiki
How do you measure the flow of universal energy and exchange?
I suppose by conducting a study.
That I am assuming would involve practitioners of the art as well as an actor to do a mock a reiki treatment to prove or dis-prove its validity. Hmmm, this would be exactly the point where I would raise an eyebrow and wonder “how do you mock that which is done naturally, without thought?”
When you bang your knee and instinctually reach down to hold it, do you think,” Well I am healing this, or is it just holding my boo boo?” I am guessing you are thinking the latter.
Diabetes and Reiki is simple!
You just do it, no rhyme, no reason, no purposeful intention… just instinct.
And if your not thinking your healing yourself, then apparently you are mocking reiki.
But oddly enough, it does make you feel better, somehow it soothes.
What is Diabetes and Reiki?
What is reiki? It is a Universal flow of energy, and yes it has been proven that we are all made up of energy so the concept of exchanging it cannot be a big leap. Is there a noticeable effect upon having a reiki treatment?
Of course there is. Is it the effect that you expect? No, not necessarily? Reiki goes where it needs to go.
It doesn’t ask you for direction doesn’t jump right out and respond to the immediate pain or aliment.
It works deeper and further then you would expect. It works to the root, the most critical issue that impedes your wellness, either mind, body or spirit.
If it is ulcers that cause you pain and discomfort, the reiki may go to where it is being caused.
It may elevate the stress you feel, the stress that adds to the ulcers formation and bleeding.
It will mend the root cause. There maybe a memory, negative thoughts, an injury sustained years prior that was traumatic to you and your body still retains it as cellular information and hurts you today.
Most Reiki Practitioners do not claim to produce miracle cures, (if they do, well run!) They do promote and offer care, concern, compassion and even insight. The results of a treatment…..rejuvenation, higher energy levels, a fresh outlook, hope and most important a feeling or better, a knowing of improved wellness.
Reiki is a complimentary modality and is “holistic”. (Meaning whole) It does not, should not and is encouraged to not replace therapies that are recommended to you by your physician. It is a powerful additive to counseling, acupuncture, vitamins, medical treatment and so much more. Reiki is a part of a whole. Mind, body, spirit and an enhancement to any care you choose.
